The secret ingredient for our signature Clam Shack lobster rolls is our fresh caught, house picked lobster meat. Two pounds of meat is the equivalent of about ten lobsters...plenty to create your own signature lobster dish with!
The Clam Shack Lobster Roll Kit had an accidental beginning, with a story that’s now famous among family and friends. In the early years of his Clam Shack ownership, Steve Kingston was asked in an interview for Travel + Leisure if there was a way to enjoy our lobster roll at home, like a DIY kit. Although it didn’t exist yet, a simple “yes” in the interview, and the lobster roll kit was born. The phone started ringing with requests for the kit while Steve’s dad was still trying to track down the right box. They managed to fill those first orders, and we have been shipping out kits ever since.
